Summary

This report captures observations and feedback gathered during two different dogfooding sessions on Storacha Network, identifying usability issues, pain points, and user journey blockers. Brief

Two dogfooding sessions were conducted on Storacha. The first involved 5 members of the UX Improvement Team at the Filecoin Foundation, while the second was held live during the Fil Dev Summit with 12 participants. The users, with varying technical expertise, explored the Storacha website and app, documenting highlights, difficulties, errors, inconsistencies, and unclear descriptions encountered during their experience.

Broken Main Flow

During our first test, the upload process was broken. We strongly recommend implementing Sentry for error monitoring and performance tracking, along with dedicated health checks to verify the upload functionality. Critical user flows like file uploads should be actively monitored through automated systems rather than relying on user reports.
